Wellness Coach/Basic Needs & Student Support Center (UEC) San Bernardino - San Bernardino Campus
The CSUSB Basic Needs & Student Support Center is intended to be a one-stop, location for students to access basic needs services, completion basic needs intake, and resources linking students to on and off-campus housing, food, financial, and other basic needs. The center serves as a one-stop wellness hub where students can meet with a Wellness Coach to receive personalized support for their basic needs. Programming in the BNs & Student Support center will address basic needs intake sessions, educational literacy, CalFresh application assistance, swipe out assistance, BNs grant request assistance, housing intake, trauma-informed and financial literacy and much more. Our students' well-being impacts their basic needs being addressed, sense of belonging, persistence, graduation rate, and overall experience. This is an exciting time to be a part of the Basic Needs & Student Support Staff and an opportunity to join a collaborative team of committed and motivated to supporting students' basic needs in the university's Basic Needs & Student Support Center. This position is temporary and will work in the department of Basic Needs & Student Support to empower students in developing skills, behaviors, and mindsets to maintain healthy well-being. This position will provide outreach, educational workshops, connect students directly to services, and coach students to achieve holistic wellness.
Assistant Director (Administrator I), Student Conduct and Ethical Development San Bernardino - San Bernardino Campus
The Assistant Director reports to the Associate Dean/ Director of Student Conduct and Ethical Development. Possessing progressively responsible administrative experience in coordinating student disciplinary case management, initiating student development and educational programs, and peer education programs, the incumbent will review, investigate, develop thorough investigative reports, adjudicate, develop and implement intentional disciplinary and educational sanctions, and manage an independent caseload of alleged violations to the Standards for Student Conduct. This position works collaboratively with numerous campus partners and may be asked to present workshops and other educational programs to students, faculty and staff.

The High School Equivalency Program (HEP) helps migratory and seasonal farmworkers (or children of such workers) who are 16 years of age or older and not currently enrolled in school to obtain the equivalent of a high school diploma and, subsequently, to gain employment or begin postsecondary education or training.
Tutor Coordinator/ICDFR (UEC) San Bernardino - San Bernardino Campus
Under the direction of ICDFR Directors, this position allows individuals the rare opportunity to expand their knowledge from the classroom and connect with the population they will serve in the San Bernardino County. The work is not only meaningful for staff, but also for the underprivileged youth in the program, as they get the opportunity to receive further educational assistance that would otherwise be unavailable given their circumstances. The K-12 Homeless Youth Students Deserve Success program connects CSUSB students to unhoused youth residing in San Bernardino. CSUSB Students are able integrate their understanding of individual differences, motivation, and subject content to provide academic support to students grades K-12. The Tutor Coordinator role will design and assign educational activities, monitor student progress on homework completion, and perform tutor responsibilities such as cleaning and organizing the classroom supplies. This position will engage and build relationships with students, parents and program personnel, help students develop teamwork and leadership skills, and provide academic guidance. The Tutor Coordinator must be able to diffuse verbal and emotional conflicts, provide emotional support, and enforce rules to provide an engaging learning environment.
